Privacy Policy.

Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh ("RTP," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of every visitor to our website and every homeowner, volunteer, donor, and partner we serve. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Contact information you provide when you submit a contact form, apply for services, sign up for our mailing list, or register to volunteer — such as your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
• Application information you provide when applying for home repair services, which may include details about your home, household, and income.
• Donation information you provide when making a gift, such as your name and billing details. Payment card details are processed by our payment processor and are not stored on our website.
• Website usage information collected automatically, such as pages visited and browser type, which helps us understand how visitors use our site.

• To respond to your inquiries and requests.
• To process and evaluate applications for repair services.
• To coordinate volunteer activities and event participation.
• To process donations and provide receipts and tax documentation.
• To send you news, updates, and appeals if you have asked to receive them. You may unsubscribe at any time.
• To improve the content and performance of our website.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate — for example, payment processing, email delivery, and website hosting — and only as needed to perform their services. We may also share information when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RTP, our homeowners, or others.

Because many of the neighbors we serve face financial hardship, we handle application information with particular care. Income and household details are used solely to determine eligibility for our programs and are not shared outside of RTP and its program partners except as required to deliver services or as required by law.

• Email communications: Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
• Access and correction: You may request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below.
• Cookies: You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some site features.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please contact us at info@rtpittsburgh.org or write to us at 7800 Susquehanna Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15208.
